I've recently become more acquainted with the Kendra Scott product and I have to say I am thoroughly impressed. Kendra Scott is a #BOSSBABE queen and her path is one I highly admire. Kendra Scott understands the concept of fashion and philanthropy and intertwines them to make a lasting product with a wonderful message.
Las Vegas got it's first Kendra Scott store in 2017 (HOLLA!) and I never knew how thrilled I would be to work with them. Kendra Scott has a firm "never say no" policy when it comes to philanthropic occasions. As soon as they planted their feet on Las Vegas soil, Kendra Scott reached out to local charities in the Las Vegas area. Upon meeting the reps, it was amazing how much they really took the time to understand the needs in the Las Vegas community and asked how they can help. Whether it's providing a little sparkle to a family in need, a donation to a silent auction, or a giveback event, Kendra Scott is very engaged in their charitable giving.
So, not only does Kendra Scott sell AMAZING jewelry (seriously, go check out their Fall line, it's BEAUTIFUL) but she built her entire company off of philanthropic asks. She was a new mom, with a baby in her hip and all her chips on the table to push forward while the economy pushed back. She decided that if she got a call for a charitable donation she would never say no. She could always make something and would always have something to give. This mantra is what she owes her success to today. Her product started spreading and so did the word of her business.
Through the nonprofit I work for is how I became more familiar with Kendra Scott. Instead of it being a give and take relationship, Kendra Scott was ALWAYS coming up with ideas on how they could donate a piece or run a giveback event. They genuinely want to help support the needs in their community. For one of my events, they donated 60 pieces of jewelry. Our nonprofit kept the ENTIRE profit. That is so unheard of from other companies.
Kendra Scott's giveback events are something to mention too. No cause is too small. Giveback events can be created for a single family need or a multi-organizational need.
I have a few pieces of my own from Kendra Scott but I have an unlimited amount of referrals to her product. I recommend them for Christmas presents, birthday gifts (you also get 50% off your purchase in your birthday month!), and for someone who is looking for that super fun and customizable piece.
I'm still in awe that Kendra Scott built her entire company based off of philanthropic measures. She is the modern-day American woman that does it all. She owns a company that bases itself on family, fashion, and philanthropy. Every go-getter girl out there needs a Kendra Scott piece in their life.
