Las Vegas Brunch Spots For The Hungover

Saturday, June 16, 2018

Okay, clearly hiking isn't on your morning agenda today. The only thing that will be climbing is your appetite. I know research says don't eat greasy foods because your body is dehydrated, but you do need to eat something at some point. Pick your battle for either a banana or a greasy-ass breakfast sandwich and move on. If you're like me, you'll choose the latter because you don't care as long as you get something into your stomach.

So, you’re thriving enough to have made it out of bed and all you want is a pile of greasy goodness in your hands. Where do you head off too?

Peppermill Restaurant and Lounge

If you want to sample some serious vintage Vegas glamour, you can't do better than the Peppermill Fireside Lounge. It’s a classic for a reason, with a mixture of neon-lights and faux plant decor you can socialize and eat through your hangover with french toast Ambrosia and 10-egg omelets! If that doesn't do it, then hair of the dog. They say the best cure for a hangover is to keep drinking. Try their scorpion drink for 60oz of total restoration. Their fireside lounge is not something to over look. Hidden in the back of the host stand is a whole separate bar area for all your intimate conversations and daylight escapes.

Hash House a Go Go

Perfect for the non-buffet attendees. There is plenty to choose from off their twisted farm food menu, and the plates are huge yet you don't have to worry about the sneeze guard blocking all of your delicious dishes. Go for the Chicken & Waffles or the Fried chicken Benedict, either way, you’ll be working off the calories all week. Make sure you get their home fries to go with it! If you come here and get the biscuits though, do yourself a favor and get their homemade gravy on the side. Calories don't count on the weekend, right?

Eggslut

Eggs, Eggs, Eggs! Prepare to wait in line as Eggslut is a hot commodity with the tourist brunch crowd. New to the Cosmopolitan, Eggslut has a very simple menu that includes egg sandwiches, egg salads, and even egg burgers for the brunches of the group. With eggs as fluffy as pillows and sandwiches bursting with flavor, Eggslut is the perfect stay and eat or on the go breakfast spot for tourists. Looking for something to sip on? They have freshly brewed coffee (cold and hot) and nicely squeezed orange juice.

Squeeze In

You will never meet a more accommodating staff to cater to your hangover. Squeeze In is all about the customer and their greasy offerings.  They have the best omelets on the planet which is what got them started in the first place. Now, they have a HUGE breakfast and lunch menu ranging from Jack Johnson Banana Walnut pancakes to a vegan Griller (my personal fave). Not everything is greasy but all you have to do is ask and they will throw whatever you want into your order.

Whist and Stove

Where elements of vintage glam meet aristocratic noble sensibility, and the best weekend brunch is offered. There sure plenty of mixologists on board for your morning fixings and a simply excentric brunch menu for your weekend warriors. White Chocolate & Walnut French Toast is a total banger and so reasonably priced. Be sure to ask about their whiskey infused syrup if you choose to indulge in any breakfast items needing any extra maple kick.

I would love to know if you check out any of these spots! Tag me on Instagram when you do! (@_CupofJoJo) I’d love to show you some love on your page. What are some of your favorite brunch spots when you’re strictly on a cleanse? Drop a comment below!
