If you are someone who considers themselves to be highly active, chances are you also like to integrate that into how you go about traveling. Just because you go out of town doesn't mean your active lifestyle stays behind. If you like the outdoors, you're going to look for someplace with intricate hiking, if you enjoy sports you're going to look for features in a destination that support that activity. If you to go traveling around the US, and you want it to be active lifestyle friendly, this is extremely easy to make happen. You can totally find some great spots around the States which are especially good for various sports and other kinds of outdoor activities.
Golf Par-tee in Georgia
There are, of course, many possible places to go golfing in the US. However, some places are more likely to be at the top of the list than others, and one of the very best spots to go golfing has to be in beautiful Georgia. Georgia's courses have stunning countryside views over valleys which make it so attractive. There are over 700 holes for you to play across the state. Some are near the Atlanta area, like Chateau Elan and Augusta National (that's where the masters play) but many popular courses like Osprey Cove and Laurel Island are in Kingsland. This is a super sweet spot for golfers and travelers as they make it easy to find a hotel in Kingsland, Georgia which is bound to blow you away.
Get a Mile Higher In Colorado
Get even higher in Colorado with their hiking trails! Hiking is a widely accepted activity. There are many skill levels to this so the only thing you have to be aware of is your boundaries. Maybe you just want to stretch your legs or maybe you want to physically climb rocks. There are a lot of awesome hiking spots in the states but a good place to start would be in Colorado. There are a number of places to check out like the West Maroon Creek trail. This 10-mile trail will take you over varied kinds of terrain with sights for miles and crisp fresh air. If you're looking for actual climbing trails check out Garden of the Gods in Colorado Springs. This is an area for all levels of hikers. Not all rocks are climbable so be sure to check in with eh visitor center.
Keeping A Watchful Eye in Boston
Maybe playing sports is TOO energy when you want to be relaxing. Well, instead of playing sports, why don't you sit back and watch! It’s no surprise that Boston is a well-visited destination in the US anyway, but not many people realize that it is also a great place to go and watch sports. It doesn’t matter whether it’s basketball, football, hockey or baseball. They have teams for all sports; I guess Boston truly does have it all. For my RedSox fans, Fenway Park is a must see! TD Garden has a multi-facility use and is home of the NBA's Celtics and the NHL Bruins! And of course, there's no way you could pass up seeing the Patriots dominate the football field at Gillette Stadium. Although, I'm a Packers fan myself.... Depending on what time of year you come through, you could see any one of these sports team live in action.
Get cRAFTy in Montana
Ahh, the good ol' treasure state. Montana is notorious for its beautiful lake beds and river flows, so there are so many water actives you could take part in here. Raft down the Yellowstone River or take a boat tour to Grinnell Glacier. The views are amazing and you probably won't be able to soak up enough sun. There are multiple trails that will lead you to hidden gems throughout the state, so take a map and wander safely!
Looks amazing! I always love to research good hiking spots when I go new places!
