This is probably a pretty greedy post for the holidays because you're not supposed to want gifts as it makes you look self-centered and egotistical, but receiving and giving gifts is inevitable during the holidays which is how I want you to look at this blog post. My Christmas/Birthday wish list is your gift guide.

My birthday is right on the heels of Christmas, so I kind of have a second chance when it comes to Christmas giving. Every so often, I do get the usual Birthmas gift too. Which is fine. I don't really need separate birthday and Christmas gifts, now. But growing up, man, that was a struggle I didn't want to get used to. I think that's why I love Thanksgiving so much. It is Christmas but without the pressure of gifts. However, I'm not one to say no to a gift. Affiliate links will be used and this post is partially sponsored by InfluenceHer partners.

Everyday Wishlist Items

My every day wants are things I use a lot and would just like someone to replenish for me. I think my grandma calls them "practical" gifts. Things like Bay Seasoning from Fresh Jax (click the link for a coupon!). I go through about a bottle of this every six months so a good stock-up would be ideal. It never goes bad!

Or a decent pack of thank you cards? Working in the non-profit sector, I send thank you cards ALL of the time. I'm constantly buying them. Hallmark Good Mail cards are a feel-good card collection that’s fresh and fun. It’s easy, inexpensive and it shows how much I care.

But honestly,  all I really want for Christmas is sustainable pads and tampons and a sense of purpose. Oi (Organic Initiative)  is my go-to brand for organic women's hygiene products. I say this mostly because they are sold at all the convenient locations (Walmart, CVS, and Amazon) but, also because I (we, us women) deserve pure comfort and the environment needs biodegradable products.

Skincare. Specifically in the winter, I could not stress skincare more. I am super picky about my skincare products so when I find something I'll use it until they discontinue it. I was introduced to Mammas Home earlier this year and I'm still in awe over their products. I love their serums and soaps specifically.

An updated subscription to Yoga Wake Up is ALWAYS a need for me. Especially because one of my goals in 2020 is to do yoga every day for 30 days. With this app, you can be responsible for the gift that keeps on giving.

Umm, I also wouldn't mind a few Sprouts, Uber, or Postmates gift cards. That's typically where a majority of my money goes.

And of course, we have the "I would be so happy if you made my life just a little better with these items" list which is a yearly ever-evolving list.

Things like this Hidrate Spark 3 Smart Water Bottle that tracks how much water you consume with Bluetooth capabilities, or Levi's Women's Original Sherpa Trucker Jacket.

The perfect gift for the person who is always cold or unsure of the weather is this Quikflip 2-in-1 Reversible Backpack Hoodie. It can be turned inside out into a backpack so you don't have to tie it around your waist and will easily transform back into a hoodie for when the weather gets cooler out of nowhere!

A Cricut cart. Our office space is very much a wreck so I need a little cart that contains all of the things for my Cricut. Right now, everything is in a tote bag and highly dysfunctional. Marie Kondo help!

Okay, dream wish list item is for someone to take all of my towels, throw them away and refresh them with these Under the Canopy towels. They are made from Organic cotton and grown without harmful chemicals or dyes or harmful pesticides or fertilizers. Because of how they are made, these towels conserve water, energy and reduce your carbon footprint. Oh, and did I mention it’s like drying off with a blanket? SO SOFT.
